SERVING TEAMS
There’s always room for more servants in the the house of God. Our serving teams are actively tapping into their discovered God-given gifts and passions to advance the Kingdom of God and pave a way for others to experience their best life for the Glory of God.
“Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.” Psalm 92:13
Our Serving Teams
C3 Kids
Our C3 Kids ministry is one of the most important ministries in the church. Our children are our future and we understand how important it is to teach God’s word at all ages. We offer 4 classes right now with age appropriate curriculums for all our classes with the exception of the nursery. You can sign up to volunteer in any of the classes. Background check is mandatory. Serve Sunday mornings.
Nursery: 3 months – 2 years
Bible Buddies: 3 years – Kindergarten
Praise Kids: 1st grade – 3rd grade
Pulse Kids: 4th grade – 6th grade
C3 Pulse²
Pulse² is our amazing youth group! This is for 7th – 12th graders. We have a wonderful team of leaders serving under Oscar Lopez. Pulse² runs like the school year from September – June. During that time we have youth services and fun activities every Sunday. During the summer the youth always go on a trip which they fundraise for during the year. They also do activates once a month in addition to the youth trip. Background check mandatory for serving. Please speak to Oscar Lopez if you’re interested or sign-up and someone will reach out to you.
Service Directing
Service directors help service to run smoothly. They go through the run sheet during the morning huddle before service, take care of the Pastors/speakers, and keep time for the speakers so they know how long they have to speak. Serve Sunday Mornings
Altar Call Team
The altar call team gets connected to people who answer the call to salvation at the end of service. You help people who respond figure out what their next step is, pray for them, etc. Serve Sunday mornings.
Connection Hub
The connection hub is a place people can stop by before or after service and sign up for serving teams, connect groups, special events, get information about what’s going on in the church, and more! Serve Sunday mornings.
Counting Team
The counting team takes care of counting and recording the tithes and offerings. Serve Sunday mornings.
Deacon/Usher Team
The deacon team helps people find seats in service, pass around offering buckets, communion cups, set up things for speakers such as water bottles and the podium. Serve Sunday mornings.
Events Team
We have many events throughout the year. The event team helps plan, organize, decorate and facilitate these events. Serves depending on the event.
Greeting Team
The greeting team serves in the very front of the house. You are the first thing people see when they walk into church. You welcome everyone and get to express how loving our church is with something as simple as a smile. Serve Sunday mornings.
Hospitality Team
Hospitality takes care of all things caffeine. They make and set up coffee, hot water for tea, milk and cold water before service, and break it all down after. Serve Sunday mornings.
Lock-Up Team
The lock up team take care of securing the building and locking/arming the church after service. They are the last person to leave the building. You will be trusted with keys. Serve Sunday mornings.
Merch Team
The merch team sells church merchandise. They set up after service and sell 2 Sundays per month. They also design and order all the products we sell. All proceeds go to our church ministries. Serve Sunday mornings.
Next Steps Team
“Next Steps” are 3 classes over the course of 3 Sundays that tech newer members how to grow, how to serve, and how to lead in our church. These classes follow our Welcome Home Parties that celebrate our new members and teach them more about C3 culture, who C3 Long Island is, and how current members in the church have been impacted by God and the people here. Serve occasionally Sunday mornings.
Operations Team
The operations team takes care of setting up and breaking down any tables, tents, supplies we may need for service. For example the C3 Kids check in station or the Hospitality table! Serve Sunday mornings.
Social Media Team
Social media has become a very important part of human culture. Social media helps show anyone who might find their selves on our Instagram, Facebook or YouTube, who we are. As well as keeps our current members informed of all the things going on. Social media team creates content throughout the week by taking pictures during service, making graphics, videos, and promoting various things for the church and different ministries/teams. Serving day and time not solidified, except pictures taken occasionally on Sunday mornings.
Touch Prayer Ministry
Out touch prayer ministry is full of wonderful, God filled, loving people. They stand at the front of the altar at the end of service and pray for anyone who comes up with a prayer need. This team also get emails throughout the week with prayer needs that are submitted online. Serves Sunday mornings.
Audio/Visual Team
The Audio/Visual team is in charge of the screens during service. They display different graphics, worship lyrics, scriptures, videos, and play music from the computer through the front of house speakers before and after service. Serves Sunday mornings.
Live Stream Video
The livestream production team is in charge of…the livestream. We currently have one stream that broadcasts to YouTube and Facebook. They are in charge of the visuals, setting up the livestream camera, switching screens during service between the livestream camera and what the A/V screens display. Serves Sunday mornings.
Sound Team
The sound team takes care of all things audio. On Sunday mornings we schedule one person for the livestream sound and the front of house sound. Must be knowledgeable about technology, doesn’t need to have experience but needs to be teachable. The front of house sound guy sets up in-ear monitors, microphones for musicians and speakers, as well as cables for instruments and electronic speakers. Serve Sunday mornings.
Worship Team
Our worship team is very special to the church. We are privileged to have some of the most talented, and anointed musicians. You not only bring music into the house, but you usher in the presence of God. If you have any musical abilities and or are interested, you will meet with our Music Pastor Tom Zano. You’ll start out by joining practices and team meetings and get a feel for how the team runs and how we as a church worship before you are invited to serve on a Sunday. Serve Sunday mornings, Worship nights, and have practices throughout the year.
